Further to our initial report in relation to the above captioned incident it has been reported that the Owners and Operators of the DALI, have filed a petition in the Federal Court of Maryland to limit their liability for claims arising from the allision with the Francis Scott Key Bridge to US$43.7m, being the estimated value of the DALI after Salvage and repair costs.

New Casualty – DALI (Singapore) – Allision with bridge 27 March 2024
We have learned of an incident involving the vessel DALI, a Singapore flag, 2015 built, 95,128 gt, fully cellular containership, which struck Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, USA, in the early hours of 26th March 2024. The Key Bridge, as it is known, is the world’s third-longest continuous truss bridge.

MOUNTAINOUS SUCCESS FOR THE HAIRY HIKERS!

We are delighted to congratulate Helen Hutton and her fellow "Hairy Hikers" on their successful climb of Ben Nevis!

The Nevis Night Hike was triumphanty completed over the 27th/28th August in aid of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Helen and her fellow Hairy Hikers fortunately returned with no injuries, apart from sore muscles and knee joints, which after many painstaking hours during the climb and decent, was the least to be expected.

All in all the Hairy Hikers raised over a whopping £8,000 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society making their venture a wonderful success from top to bottom!

Well done to all involved!
