Chris started his career in Recoveries in 1975 and by 1985 had joined the Claims Department of a leading Insurance broking operation where he headed the Recoveries Team until joining a firm of Solicitors in 1999.
Chris transferred to the W.E. Cox Claims Group in September 2010 from a rival Recovery company based in London and has gained over 30 years’ experience in the industry dealing with clients and carriers alike on a Global basis, with particular knowledge of the Pacific Rim markets and Latin America. During this time he has made a particular study of Reefer Cargoes, Bulk Grain and Bulk Liquid Cargos as well as tobacco products.
Chris' experience also extends to other modes of transport and their relative Conditions/Conventions such as Airfreight/Warsaw Convention, Road Haulage/CMR and Domestic. Chris also has a sound knowledge of the Spanish language.
