DALI (Singapore) – collision with bridge – update 2 April 2024
Further to our initial report in relation to the above captioned incident it has been reported that the Owners and Operators of the DALI, have filed a petition in the Federal Court of Maryland to limit their liability for claims arising from the allision with the Francis Scott Key Bridge to US$43.7m, being the estimated value of the DALI after Salvage and repair costs.

New Casualty – DALI (Singapore) – Allision with bridge 27 March 2024
We have learned of an incident involving the vessel DALI, a Singapore flag, 2015 built, 95,128 gt, fully cellular containership, which struck Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, USA, in the early hours of 26th March 2024. The Key Bridge, as it is known, is the world’s third-longest continuous truss bridge.

W.E. Cox Claims Group acquires CWH Europe SARL

W.E. Cox Claims Group is delighted to announce the acquisition of CWH Europe SARL, the leading independent marine surveying and loss adjusting firm in Europe. CWH Europe SARL will be merged with our current surveying operation of SJ Marine & Transit, and together will form the Group’s new survey division, CWH Europe.

The new company will see the creation of the leading marine surveying firm in the UK, with offices in Kent, Liverpool and France, with immediate plans for expansion in mainland Europe.

The new company will be 100% owned by W.E. Cox Claims Group, who are committed to providing quality claims solutions to the insurance industry on a global basis.

The new company of CWH Europe will be effective from the 1st January 2016, but in the meantime, the current companies will continue to provide the professional service that they are known for.
