We have learned of an incident involving the vessel RAINBOW HARMONY, a Panama flag, 2009 built, 22,456gt Bulk Carrier, laden with cargo of 32,000 tonnes Indonesian palm kernel, on a voyage from Panjang to Brake, Germany.
The vessel experienced engine problems in the Gulf of Guinea. Unable to repair the engine at sea, shipowners contracted Tsavliris Salvage under Lloyd’s Open Form. RAINBOW HARMONY was towed to Walvis Bay, Namibia.
If you are aware of any involvement in this casualty and W E Cox Claims Group may be of assistance in any way, including provision of GA / Salvage securities, we would be pleased to hear from you.
