Senior support engineer to join a small IT team to provide service and support globally

35-hour week, full time position, with a mixture of home and office working. Possibility of unsociable working hours to provide support of overseas offices, this will be agreed in advance with the IT & Communications Director

Ideal previous experience of Second/Third Line support.

Skills required:

Knowledge in Microsoft online services including Azure/Intune and Office 365 Administration

Proficient in Microsoft apps, including but not limited to Word, Excel and Access

Desirable knowledge of office background VBA Coding

Basic\moderate knowledge of Scripting using PowerShell and Command Line

Basic\moderate knowledge of networking understanding with ability to troubleshooting connectivity issues

Including Knowledge of firewall rules (Port forwarding)

Mac Address filtering

Ability to translate technical jargon to users with all levels of IT understanding

General Infrastructure management: Including but not limited to, Anti-virus scanning, end point security, patch management (Policy Creation and Maintenance)

Active directory Administration experience including but not limited to Group Policy Creation and editing, User Management, security assignment, Windows file share

Microsoft OS knowledge, Window 7, Window 10, Windows server 2012 upwards.

Device management and configuration, e.g. Home and MFP Printers, Mobile devices, network devices (Switch’s, Access Points) Etc
