CASUALTY UPDATE – THORCO LINEAGE

Further to our initial casualty notice in relation to the grounding of 2014 built 13,110gt, general cargo ship “THORCO LINEAGE” it is understood that salvage services are now being rendered on Lloyd’s Open Form (LOF) terms by Nippon Salvage and Smit Singapore.

We understand that the Vessel has been re-floated with initial inspection revealing significant damage to the Vessel’s hull and propeller. She is currently drifting off the coast of French Polynesia and will be towed to suitable port for repairs.

W E Cox Claims Group are actively investigating the incident and remain available to assist in any way, including provision of Salvage securities, arranging surveys, adjusting potential losses or undertaking recovery action.
