It has been reported that on / about 3rd May, the fully cellular container ship, the COSCO HOPE suffered an explosion resulting in a fire on-board.

The vessel was near Port Said, Egypt at the time, on route to LA SPEZIA, Italy. COSCO HOPE was built in 2012, is gross 141,823 tons and flies the Hong Kong flag. We will report further if Salvage and General Average security is required.
