CRILLON

We have learned of an incident involving the vessel CRILLON, a Malta flag, 1997 built, 16,705gt Fully Cellular Containership, on a laden voyage with containerised cargo from Mersin to Middle East ports.

The vessel experienced engine failure two days after departing Mersin and could not be repaired at sea. Shipowners contracted Salvors under LOF and vessel was towed into Limassol, where Salvage services terminated.

Salvage security is demanded at 25% CIF values.

Also, GA has been declared and Average Adjusters appointed to collect GA security.
