Casualty update – Dali – Allision with Bridge – General Average declared 30 April 2024
Further to our earlier advices in relation to the above captioned incident, it is now reported that DALI will be freed and the access channel reopened on/about 10th May 2024. General Average security is required to be in place before cargo will be released for survey/assessment/onforwarding to destination.

HAPPY DRAGON / ANTUNG

We have learned of an incident involving vessels HAPPY DRAGON and ANTUNG, which suffered a collision. ANTUNG, which was being manoeuvred by a tug under harbour pilot’s assistance, came into contact with HAPPY DRAGON, which was berthed ahead of her.

HAPPY DRAGON is a Malta flag, 2011 built, 14,784gt general cargo vessel, on a voyage from Australasia to Far East, having previously called at USA and Panama.

ANTUNG is a Singapore flag, 2007 built, 5,316gt general cargo vessel, on a voyage from Australasia to Italy, having previously called at Indonesia, China and East Timor.

HAPPY DRAGON is reported to have been holed and dented above the waterline.

ANTUNG has sustained damage to the port aft corner above the main deck.

No injuries or pollution have been reported.
