We have learned of an incident involving the vessel JUNO, a Bahamas flag, 2011 built, 20,603gt bulk carrier, on a voyage from Spain and UK to ports in USA and Canada.

It is reported that the vessel, laden with sugar, encountered steering problems and ran aground under Thousand Islands Bridge in the St Lawrence River, causing the river to be closed to traffic. JUNO remains aground as of this morning.
