Casualty update – Dali – Allision with Bridge – General Average declared 30 April 2024
Further to our earlier advices in relation to the above captioned incident, it is now reported that DALI will be freed and the access channel reopened on/about 10th May 2024. General Average security is required to be in place before cargo will be released for survey/assessment/onforwarding to destination.

MAERSK SEOUL

We have learned of an incident involving the vessel MAERSK SEOUL, a Liberia flag, 2006 built, 94,483gt Fully Cellular Containership, on a voyage from Jebel Ali to Jeddah.

MAERSK SEOUL is reported to have sustained a fire and explosion on board, off the coast of Ras Al Khaimah. The vessel is now returning to Jebel Ali.
