We have learned of an incident involving the vessel MONTEVIDEO EXPRESS, a Liberia flag, 2001 built, 66,058gt Fully Cellular Containership, on a laden voyage with containerised cargo from Cartagena, Colombia to Veracruz, thereafter to US ports, when a fire broke out in the auxiliary engine room.
