We have learned of an incident involving the vessel CMA CGM BARRACUDA, a Malta flag, 54,152gt, 2007 built, fully cellular containership, which ran aground at a dike near Hansweert, Netherlands having suffered problems with mechanical failure of a rudder en route from Antwerp to Hamburg, having previously called at Nemrut, Tanger Med and Southamption..

Multraship Salvage BV and URS Nederland BV have been contracted to assist under Lloyd’s Open Form.
