W.E. Cox have been appointed by Cargo interests in an incident involving the EVER FEAT, a Liberia flag, 116,295GT, 11,850TEU fully cellular containership vessel. The EVER FEAT was sailing from Navegantes, Brazil to Montevideo, Uruguay when she was exposed to severe wind and high waves off Rio Grande, Brazil on 28th July 2025 resulting in collapse and/or damage of about 30 to 40 containers.

It is understood that some of the affected containers may contain hazardous materials and salvors at Montecon have been engaged. It is unclear whether any containers have fallen overboard.

The EVER FEAT is owned by Sinfonia Line Limited, managed by Shoei Kisen Kaisha Limited and operated by Evergreen Marine Corporation (Taiwan) Limited. She trades between the Far East – South America (ESA) routing network.

As a result of this casualty, cargo deliveries will likely be delayed, with possible cargo loss and damage.
