We refer to our recent Casualty Notice concerning the vessel Shiling, a Singaporean flag, 53,807 gt, 2005 built, containership, which issued a Mayday call after losing power off coast of S Island, 22 NM NNW of Farewell Spit, New Zealand on 12 May 2023.

Average Adjusters (Messrs Marine Claims Office of Asia Pte Ltd) have been appointed to collect GA and salvage securities. We have been advised by the Average Adjusters that salvage securities should be lodged at 30% of values. Both salvage and GA securities must be verified by the Average Adjusters before the release of the cargo.
