DALI (Singapore) – collision with bridge – update 2 April 2024
Further to our initial report in relation to the above captioned incident it has been reported that the Owners and Operators of the DALI, have filed a petition in the Federal Court of Maryland to limit their liability for claims arising from the allision with the Francis Scott Key Bridge to US$43.7m, being the estimated value of the DALI after Salvage and repair costs.

New Casualty – DALI (Singapore) – Allision with bridge 27 March 2024
We have learned of an incident involving the vessel DALI, a Singapore flag, 2015 built, 95,128 gt, fully cellular containership, which struck Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, USA, in the early hours of 26th March 2024. The Key Bridge, as it is known, is the world’s third-longest continuous truss bridge.

W.E. Cox Claims Group are delighted to announce the following changes to W.E. Cox (Australasia) Pty Ltd.

With effect 1^st August 2020, Niall Orr is promoted to Managing Director Australasia. Niall has proven himself to be an excellent negotiator and manager since joining W.E. Cox Claims Group and continues to oversee the growth of W.E. Cox Claims Group in the region.

With effect 20^th July 2020, Hamish Cotton is joining the team as Claims Manager. Legally qualified and with more than 20 years experience in marine claims, including handling claims for leading Lloyd’s Syndicates, Hamish brings a wealth of experience to Australian office.

The board of Directors of W.E. Cox Claims Group are delighted to recognize Niall’s efforts with a well deserved promotion and to welcome Hamish to the team. We would also like to express our warmest thanks to our clients in Australia and abroad as without your support we could not continue to expand our operation.
