We have learned of an incident involving the vessel ONE AQUILA, a Panama flag, 2018 built, 145,647gt, fully cellular containership, which encountered severe weather conditions in the Pacific Ocean off the US coast, resulting in collapse of stow and reportedly in excess of one hundred containers being lost overboard.

It is reported that CMA CGM MISSOURI experienced a blackout while transiting the Suez Canal with the southbound convoy. Her rudder is believed to have jammed, and was damaged as the vessel came into contact with the canal bank. Although another vessel, MAERSK HANOI, was caused to halt, the Suez Canal remained open for traffic following the grounding and the consequent refloating operation.
We have learned of an incident involving the vessel CSAV TRANCURA, a 2013 built 96,268gt Fully Cellular Containership which again suffered collapse of stow, following a similar occurrence last November.

During the morning of 4th August, a fire broke out in the engine room, and was successfully extinguished after ESSO and Antwerp City Fire Brigade responded promptly to the incident.
We have learned of an incident involving the vessel UNI FLORIDA a 2007 built 36,483gt Fully Cellular Containership which was recorded entering Jebel Ali 27th July with a significant collapse of containers.

The vessel operates on the MPS service for Hapag-Lloyd and the MCPS service for Hamburg Sud, from Livorno, Italy, through the Panama Canal and north to ports in the USA and Canada.
CAP JACKSON was disabled by a fire in the auxiliary engine room on 29th July, while preparing to enter he anama Canal. The vessel has now entered the port of Balboa on the Pacific side of the canal, where a repair plan will be established, and contingency measures made for cargo distribution.
We have learned of an incident involving the vessels KINEI MARU NO.22 and POS YOKOHAMA, reported to have collided approximately 7nm off Tahara, eastern Honshu, south of Nagoya, Japan.
POS YOKOHAMA, IMO 9164603, is a South Korea flag, 1998 built, 8,306gt containership, en route from Yokohama to Yokkaichi
KINEI MARU NO.22, IMO 9021356, is a Japan flag, 1992 built, 699gt general cargo ship, en route from Anegasaki to Nagoya.
W.E. Cox have been advised of an incident involving the Vessel LAURA MAERSK a 2001 built 50,688gt Fully Cellular Containership which suffered an explosion and fire in the engine room 4th June 2020.
