We have learned of an incident involving the vessel SE PANTHEA, a Singapore flag, 2009 built, 9,627gt general cargo vessel with container capacity, on a voyage from Singapore to Panama Canal, calling at Taichung, Ulsan and Huangpu.

The vessel was reported to have run aground off China as a result of Typhoon Hato. The nature and scope of salvage services have yet to be determined, and whether security is ultimately required or General Average may be declared is unknown.
