W.E. Cox have learned of an incident involving the HELLAS APHRODITE, a Malta Flag, 29,410GT, 183m, oil/chemical tanker vessel, which has been hijacked about 500nm off Mogadishu, Somalia whilst enroute from Sikka, India to Durban, South Africa carrying gasoline.

W.E. Cox have learned of an incident involving the STAR BUENO, a Liberian Flag, 93,186GT, 291.97m, bulk carrier vessel, which ran aground on 26th October 2025 after its anchor dragged off Dung Quat, Vietnam whilst laden with 174,790 tons of iron ore and enroute from Saldanha Bay, South Africa.

W.E. Cox have learned of an incident involving the laden GRANDE ROMA, an Italian Flag vessel, 44,431GT, 196m, vehicle carrier, which reported an engine room fire on 25 October 2025 whilst sailing in the English Channel, UK en route from Antwerp, Belgium to Jebel Ali, UAE.

We have learned of an incident involving the MISSISSIPPI, a Madeira flag, 52,228gt, 2024 built, fully cellular containership, which has suffered a loss of containers overboard whilst at the ITS Container Terminal, Long Beach California on 9th September 2025.

Further to our initial advice regarding a fire on board the MARIE MAERSK, a Denmark flag, 194,849GT, 18,270TEU fully cellular containership which was enroute from Rotterdam, Netherlands to Tanjung Pelepas, Malaysia 13th August 2025, we have now been notified by Maersk that they have declared General Average

W.E. Cox have learnt of an incident involving the CMA CGM J.MADISON, a Malta flag, 141,950GT, 14,414TEU fully cellular containership vessel. The CMA CGM J.MADISON was enroute from Singapore to Port Khalifa, Dubai when she suffered a fire in the Straits of Malacca on 18th August 2025.

W.E. Cox have learnt of an incident involving the MARIE MAERSK, a Denmark flag, 194,849GT, 18,270TEU fully cellular containership. The MARIE MAERSK was enroute from Rotterdam, Netherlands to Tanjung Pelepas, Malaysia when she suffered a fire whilst sailing off the coast of Liberia on 13th August 2025.

W.E. Cox have been appointed by Cargo interests following an incident on the STRATFORD, a Liberian flag, 91,649GT, 8,533TEU fully cellular containership. The STRATFORD was enroute from Shenzen, China to Vietnam when she suffered a fire in the South China Sea about 190nm off Yongshu Reef, Nansha, China on 28th July 2025.

W.E. Cox have been appointed by Cargo interests in an incident involving the EVER FEAT, a Liberia flag, 116,295GT, 11,850TEU fully cellular containership vessel. The EVER FEAT was sailing from Navegantes, Brazil to Montevideo, Uruguay when she was exposed to severe wind and high waves off Rio Grande, Brazil on 28th July 2025 resulting in collapse and/or damage of about 30 to 40 containers.

W.E. Cox have learnt of an incident involving the EVER LUNAR, a Taiwan flag, 101,063GT, 8,508TEU fully cellular containership vessel. The EVER LUNAR sailed from Buenaventura, Colombia to Collao, Peru when 50 containers fell overboard from her aft section whilst waiting to enter the Callao harbour on 2nd August 2025.
