We have learned of an incident involving the vessel MSC ELAINE, a Panama flag, 95,681gt, 2009 built, fully cellular containership, which ran aground whilst departing Gioia Tauro, Italy, 9th January 2023.

We have learned of an incident involving the vessel MONTE PASCOAL, a Singapore flag, 71,746gt, 2005 built, fully cellular containership, which ran aground whilst approaching Cartagena, Columbia, 7th January 2023.

New Casualty – SEA XPRESS – Capsize

We have learned of an incident involving the vessel BBC KWIATKOWSKI, an Antigua & Barbuda flag, 6,115gt, 2008 built, general cargo ship with container capacity, which ran aground off Montreal-East, Quebec, en route from Port Colborne, Canada, to Antwerp, Belgium, but with a scheduled stopover in Montreal.

We have learned of an incident involving the vessel RAGNA, a German flag, 3,999gt, 1998 built, fully cellular containership, which ran aground in the Little Belt after leaving Frederica, Denmark late at night on the 27th October 2022.

We have learned of an incident involving the vessel YOUNG YONG, a Djibouti flag, 153,911gt, 2001 built, crude oil tanker, which ran aground in the Singapore Straits on the evening of 26th October 2022.

It is reported that the Panamanian-flagged containership is adrift off the west coast of Senegal.
